I just don't think they should have them on the job. Given the poor service, the lack of professional appearance just makes it all the worse.
Is that better? I hope...
Jim & I are on Medi-Care! Because we are OLD. They take out $100.00 per month for the two of us. We also have AARP as a suppliment to M/C and, for the two os us, that is $431.52. Our prescriptions cost roughly $400.00 per month and Jim get most of his from the VA. I wish I had a deal like Kroger is offering!
Wait a minute! Sluggo is old?
YES! Raven, I am OLD! If you consider 66 OLD.
Thread hijack!
Sluggo,
If there is anything that Jim is prescribed that isn't on the VA formulary, remind him to ask each and every time he goes.
My father was shelling out more than $400 a month for a prescription. He kept asking everyone at the VA, and finally someone actually looked at the list. It's covered.
Do you have the option of mail order? (Ignorant of Medicare.)
Trav's company just changed insurers. I was very happy to learn that our neighborhood pharmacy takes the new plan, because they will deliver prescriptions. And, when Trav knows he's going to be gone for long periods, the pharmacist will dispense a 60 or 90 day supply, and then bill the insurance company monthly. The same pharmacist has overnighted stuff to Trav.
End of thread hijack.
Have I ever mentioned that I really, really hate Kroger?
I had to pop in to the Colerain Kroger today, because we had no chicken broth. I HATE that store. The one on Mitchell (actually, Kenard) is even worse.
I never shopped Kroger when we lived there. There prices were outrageous. I'd drive all the way up to Mason from Amberley to shop at the new Bigg's store. Saved a fortune, and the staff was always polite.
My plan allows you to get a 90 day supply at a time. I do mail order for three of my prescriptions and Rohe's (local pharmacist) beats the AARP mail order prices on the others. Still it costs us over $400.00 a month.
I hate Kroger. The cashiers are produce-ignorant. If I had a nickel for each time a cashier held up something as exotic as red leaf lettuce and said "What dis?", we'd be rich.
An the irony of the hugh signs proclaiming "ALL CHECK LANES OPEN 4 to 6". HA!
Kroger's meat is poor quality. The produce is just as bad.
